The use of glass pipes will be banned in the smoke-free area of Melbourne CBD
On March 13, news reports from Western Australia today said glass pipes that due to Melbourne City Council's consideration of banning the use of electronic cigarettes in existing smoke-free areas, some areas of CBD will soon be banned from using electronic cigarettes.
If the city council passes an amendment next Tuesday night, glass pipes for sale products will be banned in the city's 11 no-smoking areas.
Mayor Sally Capp said the move would bring the city into line with the rest of the state, where electronic cigarettes are also restricted.
She said buy glass pipes: "E-cigarette is still a very new product compared with tobacco, but we know that it may be related to serious lung diseases, and more and more evidence shows that E-cigarette will cause young people to start smoking."
